I advise new and seasoned collectors on the acquisition and sale of Contemporary art. Relying on knowledge and relationships developed during fifteen years in the New York art world, I find desirable works of art for my clients’ homes and offices. I also build and maintain corporate collections and source artwork for lobbies, restaurants, and retail spaces. Although based in New York, I have clients across the United States.
I work with you to intimately understand your aesthetic, budget, viewpoint, and interests to assure that the work you collect best represents your tastes and goals. I bridge the gap between my clients and the art world, creating a seamless, educational, and enjoyable experience. My passion for looking at art brings me both to prestigious galleries and auction previews as well as the studios of emerging talent. This comprehensive knowledge of the art market allows me to present an extensive range of work for each project. I offer unbiased guidance on every acquisition and expert advice on framing, installation, shipping, and insurance.
A Manhattan native, I am a graduate of Amherst College and received my Ph.D. from the Bard Graduate Center. I wrote my dissertation on the Contemporary sculptor Kenneth Snelson.
Soon after graduating from Amherst in 2000, I started my career in Sotheby’s catalogue production department. I was subsequently the Director of a leading art advisory firm and several Contemporary galleries, including Von Lintel Gallery. I have also taught the history of design at the undergraduate and graduate level and written articles for numerous publications.
I live in Gramercy with my boyfriend John and a small fluffy dog named Hogarth.
